Het is donderdagochtend 7 juni 2018 en ik ben al vroeg op pad gegaan. Ik rijd vandaag over de snelweg richting Teheran om vervolgens Isfahan en Yazd te bezoeken. Ik kies nu voor een stukje snelweg zodat ik wat sneller naar het zuiden kan afzakken. Ook hier raak ik niet uitgekeken. Ik wil vanavond slapen in Quzvin. Daar aangekomen zoek ik in het centrum een hotelletje.
Onderweg tijdens de rit ben ik een paar keer gestopt om te tanken. Je maakt dan ook hele leuke dingen mee; een man en een vrouw met twee kinderen komen naar me toe en vragen of ze op de foto mogen. Eerst maar de kinderen bij de motor op de foto. De man wilde graag op de motor op de foto en dat ook gedaan. Toen wilde mevrouw ook wel dus nog maar eentje gemaakt. Ik ben nog even mijn benen aan het strekken als de man naar me toe komt en me een kopje thee aanbiedt, wat ik niet afsla. ( ik word nog een ware theedrinker) .
Ook bij de volgende stop willen er weer verschillende mensen met de motor op de foto. Ik tref daar ook een Iraanse man die vertelde dat hij 2 jaar geleden in Nederland op vakantie was. Ik moest meekomen naar zijn auto en daar bood hij mij perziken, een banaan en pistache nootjes aan. Een andere man kwam weer aanzetten met, jawel hoor, een kopje thee.
Morgen wil ik door naar Isfahan om daar 1 dag te blijven en de stad te bekijken. Dat is nog een flinke trip van zo’n 600 km.

Wederom indrukwekkend en fijn om e.e.a. te lezen Twan. Betreffende landschap, de bergen kan ik nog wat herinneren. Jouw gevoel van in een film van Indiana Jones is prachtig en kan ik me voorstellen. Leuk en heerlijk genieten en van de ontmoetingen die op je pad komen. Op tijd de beentjes strekken en fijn dat je de gids een aantal dagen hebt verzet👍.
