Ik vertrek vanochtend 24 juni, op tijd. Ik wil vandaag de grens over met Tadzjikistan. Doel van vandaag is vanavond slapen in Dusjanbe in Tadzjikistan. Ik heb mijn tijd nodig omdat ik geen idee heb hoe lang dit vandaag aan de grens gaat duren. Het valt allemaal erg mee. Bij de grenspost zijn ze erg behulpzaam en het gaat gemoedelijk. Ik moet wel weer 4 loketten hebben voordat ik word uitgeschreven uit Oezbekistan. Ook moet ik bewijzen waar ik in Oezbekistan geslapen heb en waar ik geweest ben. Gelukkig heb ik alle bonnetjes van hotels etc. bewaard omdat de aardige receptionist van het eerste hotel dit aan mij had verteld. Verder gaat alles voortvarend en na een goed half uur sta ik dan in Tadzjikistan. Ik mag hier weer nergens foto’s maken, jammer voor jullie, maar mijn bagage wordt deze keer gelukkig helemaal niet gecontroleerd.
Weer een volgend land van mijn lijstje, Tadzjikistan! Best onwerkelijk maar tegelijk word ik er blij van. Geen woestijn, geen geel zand maar groen en bergen. Wel moet ik door de tunnel des doods. Deze tunnel is 5 kilometer lang, nauwelijks verlicht ( sinds kort een beetje) en amper afzuiging.
Het landschap is werkelijk weer prachtig. De rit verloopt voorspoedig en ik kom voor donker aan in Dusjanbe. Ik zoek daar een hotelletje voor de nacht. Morgen schrijf ik weer meer. Ik heb volgens mij in mijn leven nog nooit zoveel geschreven als nu.
